Welcome to St Paul's British Primary School

Welcome to the website of St Paul’s British Primary School, a warm and lively international primary school near Brussels, Belgium.

We are delighted to show you around our school.  Here you can find out what we believe in, what we offer and who we are.  You can meet some of our children, see examples of their work and find out about recent and forthcoming events.  You can take a tour of our school buildings and grounds and you can even take a tour of the beautiful area of Tervuren, near Brussels, where we are located.  If you would like to join us you will also find Admissions information and Application forms.

We believe in giving every child who comes to our school the best possible start in life.  We value the uniqueness of every child.  We value excellence in all we do.  We believe in nurturing an enthusiasm for learning and we believe in the development of character.

We offer a Pre-school from the age of 2 and a Primary School through to the age of 9*.  We use the UK National Curriculum as our starting point and then go beyond it to reflect the international context and diversity of our school.  We offer truly excellent facilities in a rural setting.

We are a highly experienced staff team of UK-qualified teachers supported by a wonderful Parents Association and strong links with St Paul’s Church, Tervuren.

We warmly welcome children of all nationalities, cultures and faiths and currently have a wonderfully diverse group of children from 15 different countries.

Visit us here, on-line, and then come and visit St Paul’s British Primary School for yourself.  We will make you very welcome!

Headteacher

* In 2009 we are only offering Primary School classes up to Year 4 (that is up to the age of 9) while we complete the refurbishment of our buildings.  However it is our intention to offer a Year 5 class from September 2010 and a Year 6 class from September 2011.
