Who we are

"We are a highly experienced staff team of UK-qualified teachers supported by a wonderful Parents Association and strong links with St Paul’s Church, Tervuren."

Headteacher

The headteacher of St Paul’s British Primary School is Brett Neilson. Brett is a highly experienced teacher whose previous position was Deputy Head of a large Primary School in south-east England. Brett is originally from South Africa and so he also has personal experience of what it means to make an international move and to be an expatriate.

Teaching Staff

Our class teachers are exceptionally well qualified. They all hold UK teaching qualifications and have extensive experience of working in an international school environment with children who are adjusting to life in a new country. All are highly competent when working with children who do not have English as their first language. In addition to the class teachers we have specialist teachers for Music, Religious Education, English as an Additional Language (EAL) and French.

School Nurse

We have a qualified Nurse on the staff who dispenses First Aid and TLC (Tender Loving Care) to children and also to Parents where necessary!

School Administration

We have a small but highly competent administrative team. The School Administrator is in the school every day and there is additional administrative support on a part-time basis helping with Finance and Accounting, Marketing and Admissions and Project Management (for the building development projects).
